  Textronics is a Software Company
- What is your employee strength?
  We have 80+ employees and have been in the textile business for the past 27+ years and counting.
- What are the kind of products that you offer?
  We provide Retail and CAD solutions for textile and Fashion Industries.
- What are your current Clients?
  We serve to a lot of clients in India as well as across the globe, some of which include Shoppers Stop, ITC Wills Lifestyle, Zodiac, SBJ, etc.
- Where are your clients from?
  We have a global presence in more than 30 countries wherein China, Bangladesh, Germany, Italy, Latin America are our major clients
- How many Offices do you have?
  We operate from our HQ located at Navi Mumbai.

Tailor-i
- What is Tailor-i all about?
  Tailor-i - An interactive platform that can be used for bespoke clothing requirements by leveraging user with the power of combining the selected elements of a garment, and instantly visualized it in form of a made-to-measure outfit of your choice.
- What is the difference between the Tailor-i Online & Instore Tailor-i?
  Tailor-i Online is a web-based application to increase your clientele over the web with seamless integration with your existing/ new website.
  Whereas Instore Tailor-i is to ensure enhancement of visual display and interactive customization of the bespoke ensemble.
- How can we integrate it into website?
  We share the API with you for easy and seamless integration to get the results on your new/ existing website.
- Where do you maintain Customer Database and Fabric inventory?
  If Textronics is providing the entire B2C solution to you, we shall take care of the customer database and fabric inventory.
  In case you want to access the ‘TAILOR-i’ application on your own, your web development team will be taking care of it.
  However, the fabric samples will be scanned, stored and maintained on our secure server.
- What if communication with your server breaks down?
  Such situations are a matter of exception; Yet in case this situation occurs, we have our Customer Support team to assist you.
- Does this software run with user license or any other mode?
  Yes indeed, it works with user license. We host the application on a secure server to enable working for the client exclusively.
- How much it cost?
  We suggest if you could spare some time for an online demonstration that will give you a detailed idea about our products and its features.
  Once we are done with the demonstration we can proceed ahead with the pricing.
- How are we charged for it (time interval)?
  What is the price is it once or yearly or?
  The price is for license only
- Can client upload new data themselves (pics, text, price, etc.)?
  The 3D engine/tailor-i engine works only for garments which are very categorized and classified to manage the elements of the garments.
- Is the Suit Design Tool fully-responsive, including mobile-devices, so that the buyers using the smartphone to buy a suit can conveniently order?
  Yes, it all depends on the website development, if you make the design of website responsive than it will work on all devices.
- Is the web-based version of Tailor-i fully responsive? Is it compatible with wordpress or wo commerce website?
  YES indeed, our web-based customization tool is fully responsive and is compatible with WordPress and Wo Commerce websites.
- What technology/framework this tool it is based on (jQuery/JavaScript, HTML5, canvas, etc.)?
  You can use either jQuery or html 5. Our application renders the results and sends across the image files.
- If our developer is not able to integrate the tool in the website, will you do it? If yes, will you charge extra for that?
  Yes, we can integrate it. Integration charges would be additional.
- They want to do content marketing is there a blog feature?
  Our application is developed an Engine and can be implemented in any PHP platform which offers such features.
- Do you need any artwork/ pictures created from client side?
  No.
Design 3D
- Do you offer support services for clients out of India?
  We offer online support via Team Viewer, keeping the time-zones & time difference in mind.
  Online support eliminates the travel time required for sending our person from INDIA to Client’s Country and the response to query is instant saving the valuable time.
- Is your software client server capable?
  As Design 3D is a heavy-weighted software on the graphics part, it is not a client server application.
  It will work more efficiently when independently installed on a single PC.
- How many clients are possible?
  Since the software is not a client server application, multiple licenses can work independently on many computers.
- Need I a license for the server where I store only the DBS?
  All the data/images generated in the application are pure image files. You can store them in your HDD directly.
- What kind of SQL is used in the software?
  The application is similar to illustrator or Photoshop which works with DIB/Image files hence no SQL is used.
- What operating systems are compatible?
  All versions of Windows OS are compatible to our software, but we recommend Windows 7 Professional Edition for optimum results.
- How many days training does one need for easy understanding of your software? Do you provide this service in other countries as well India?
  For training of your design personnel, it is most advisable to send our technical person for a 1-2-day training at your work. We offer this service at cost.
Design Dobby
- Which is the minimum specifications in which the program works? We haven´t found laptops with windows 7 or less.
  The program can run on WINDOWS XP, Dual core I3 processor
- What version of Windows do you recommend running the program in?
  We recommend WINDOWS 7.
- Does the program run in MAC? What specifications?
  The program does not run directly on the Mac OS. But you can install Windows using VMWare / BOOT CAMP on the Mac OS and then run the Dobby program.
- Please tell us your experience with windows 8. Can we run the program with it?
  We have couple of machines with WINDOWS 8 and the software runs OK.
- How long does it take to learn the program? How many training sessions are necessary?
  Normally it takes 2-3 days for training and the experience is very fine. The User Interface is very simple and normally designers pick up the commands very easily.
- How and where do you train the program for usual? Do you train personally or via telephone / Team viewer?
  We can depute our technical executive for training the design team. We can also do training online using Team Viewer
- Does this application create more than one Selvedge design?
  Yes, user can make more selvedge designs in the Design Dobby application.
- Does this Textronics application for Selvedge design can prepare several model patterns composed of various color?
  Yes, it is possible to create separate weave and pattern for body and selvedge
- Can user make a special pattern for a position with a motive, like (TUMPAL) without repeating?
  Yes. We can create extra weft and extra warp patterns and single repeat designs for the width of the loom.
- Can user use the application for Design Dobby woven with extra warp or roll ropes without limits?
  Yes. We can create extra weft and extra warp patterns
- Is there any easier way to draw pattern in dobby (similar to photoshop)?
  Yes, we shall be most pleased to have a demo session to show them the working.
- Can user use the final dobby & jacquard design file with application (dobby & Jacquard) made in China or any other country?
  We need to know what file format the Chinese machine supports for dobby and jacquard. Please share the files used for dobby and jacquard to transfer on the loom/machine.
- The design dobby has 5 column windows to change the color. Is there an easier way to change the color?
  YES, User can directly select the colorway option and drop the color from the color library, which is very simple to use.
- When creating big repeat. Is there a feature to print the design to analyze & match all the paper print to create repeats?
  We have an option in our software called Multi Page, where it directly divides the print region of the design in multiple pages.
  - This feature is available for all designs.
  - User needs to define the print size and select multi page option to print the same design on multi pages.
- Can we place Yarn Palette to separate places on paper, in print preview (Top-left, Bottom-right, left-center etc. We have this options for Logo, name etc.)?
  YES, we can give this option or yarn palette as well.
Design Jacquard
- What is Design Jacquard all about?
  Design Jacquard is a tribute to our predecessors wherein an array of tool is provided for creating artwork interactively and facilitates to create and attribute weaves to the artwork. It goes further in stimulating the fabric and transfer the design to Electronic Jacquard for flawless weaving.
- How many languages is the application available in?
  the program is available in SPANISH language and 5 other languages as well.
- How is the product delivered physically or digitally?
  The product deliver would be physical.
  The dongle/Hardware Key for the program will be couriered to you.
  Once the client receives the dongle, Client just needs to attach it to the computer for initiate using the software.
  (Note - We can setup the software online via TeamViewer.)
- What are the extension that can be used in exporting the file?
  The program exports files in .EP, .JC3, .JC4, .JC5 and Grosse extension also.
